Abstract

|
In order to detect the proportion of lactic acid in cultured supernatant of human gingival fibroblast, the organic acid was measured by HPLC. The proportion of lactic acid production in 13th passage was 25.57±2.38% and that of 3rd passage was 1.50±1.68%. And so, the proportion of lactic acid in 13th passage was greater than that of 3rd passage. We suggest that the proportion of lactic acid be increased according to the increase of passage. These results suggest that tactic acid might he one parameter for measuring cell state.
